連續性出版品

定義 Serial
A publication in any medium issued in successive parts bearing numeric or chronological designations and intended to be continued indefinitely. Serials include (type1)periodicals; (type2)newspapers; (type3)annuals (reports, yearbooks, etc.); (type4)the journals memories, proceedings, transactions, etc., of societies; and (type5)numbered monographic series.

構成要素有三：
１以連續方式分批出版
２載有編號或年代日期
３意圖永遠繼續出版下去




期刊 Periodicals
A kind of serial that has a distinctive title and that is issued more frequently than once a year at regular intervals, with each issue containing articles by several contributors.
非期刊 Non-periodicals
All other forms of serials, such as yearbook, annuals, memories, transactions and proceedings of societies, and any series cataloged together instead of separately.




出版中的套書：未完成以前當成serial，不再出版之後當成nonserials。

非書的連續性出版品，例：日報
→書和ＣＤ等只是一種媒體，連續性出版品是一種出版狀態。
